Once Upon A Time

ONCE UPON A TIME, in the distant rural town of Parachute, Colorado some good families went through multiple pay cuts and chose to make some bad choices that ruined their families and lives.  Desirous to maintain both internal and external freedoms, my veteran Hoggan family set out to grow a small family business that would promote fun, fitness, and freedom.

In 2014, I took one of my sons to an event boasting education and the latest in tech for public amusement.  Not disappointed, we made an investment to purchase military style lasertag gear that utilizes the famous M.I.L.E.S. software technology.

In 2015, the guns arrived: some realistic, some "public friendly" in appearance.  Rocky Mountain Lasertag Inc ("RMLT") was formed and ran mobile games only.

In 2017, we created Rocky Mountain Combat Inc ("RMC") to start the evolution of a unique combat arena in Parachute on a compact one acre commercial lot of land.  It is tactically centered in the western slope of gorgeous Colorado.

In 2019, we invested in Airsoft to satisfy a public desire of teens and young adults for this higher energy and slightly painful sport.  

In the winter of 2022, we invested in Paintball to serve those wanting a higher adrenaline rush and bazookaball for their kids.

So, we do this different than other fields because our motives are different.

We do not do all this for love of any of the sports, though we love playing them like most people do.  And, we do not have this business for a major income.  Truth is it doesn't make much money after all the business expenses are paid, and that's why most fields close down over time.

We do it for fun!  We looove bringing a feeling of laughter and excitement to your lives.  We love helping to start and strengthen relationships.

We do it for fitness!  In a 1st world nation full of idle entertainment, I personally love being a part of getting kids and adults alike off the couch and out to play.  

And, we do it for freedom!  In a nation confused about the importance of freedoms via self defense, via physical health, and via spiritual testimony, I love having an environment where groups come by reservation and life lessons can be taught to improve our world overall.

For these reasons, every game we play has an objective with variables.  Our aim is to enhance character development and strength of relationships through intense and fun goal setting, communication, laughter, and play. 

Typically, events are operated by one of us parents, or our kids, or both as we use this business to teach our kids important life lessons and work ethic.
